Original Prints, Distinctly NOIB

Drawn first, made into clothes second

Every NOIB collection starts with a drawing. Our design team in Delhi creates the artwork by hand, and that artwork sets the colour, mood and story of the season. We don't buy prints from libraries or adapt stock patterns. If you see a NOIB print, it was drawn for us.

Once a drawing is final, it's digitised and set into a repeat that suits the clothes. This step matters more than it sounds. A print that looks beautiful on paper can look cramped on a sleeve or lost on a skirt, so each pattern is placed with the silhouette in mind. The artwork leads, and the shape lets it show.

One print, several pieces

Prints rarely appear on a single piece of clothing. Bloom, Tarot, Azure, Summer Zest, Prairee, Postcards & Petals and Nocturnal Jungle each run through a collection, so a dress, a shirt and a pair of trousers can share the same pattern. Wear them together for a full look, or split them across different outfits.

We print digitally with GOTS-certified inks, which use less water and energy and create less waste than conventional textile printing. 

Conscious Resort Wear, Considered from the Fabric Up

No polyester, no plastic-based fabrics

We don't use polyester or plastic-based fabrics, and that rule applies to the whole range, not one capsule. Resort clothes get worn in heat, humidity, sea air, and long airport queues. Natural fabrics handle all of that better, and they tend to feel better against the skin at 38 degrees.

Linen, cotton and Linen Lyocell

Our range uses linen, cotton and Linen Lyocell. Linen is crisp and breathable, which is why the Harper sleeveless mini and the Hazel halter-neck midi are made in it. Linen Lyocell drapes more softly and suits fluid shapes. Fabric is matched to clothes, not the other way round.

Specific, not sweeping

We don't claim a sustainability certification, and we don't quote an environmental impact figure. What we can tell you is what we use, what we don't, and where it's made. Every product page lists its exact fabric composition, so you can check before you buy. Production is small-batch and in-house, which limits overproduction by design. Minis, midis and the occasional crochet

Dresses are the biggest part of what we make, and most of them are named after a shape you can recognise. Harper is a sleeveless A-line mini in linen. Amara and Celia are easy minis. Hazel is a halter-neck midi, Nora and Lena are midis, and Vega is a shirtdress that works open over a swimsuit or buttoned for dinner. Bardot is a crochet mini for the days when even linen feels like too much.

Choosing a dress for the trip you're taking

For a beach holiday, a sleeveless mini or crochet dress packs small and dries fast. For destination dinners, a midi in a bolder print does most of the work without needing jewellery. For travel days, a shirtdress is comfortable and looks put together. Because the prints repeat across the range, you can match a dress to a co-ord or swimsuit later.

These aren't one-trip dresses. They're meant for the airport, the long lunch, and then October at home. 

Printed Co-ord Sets for Contemporary Getaways

A co-ord set removes the hardest part of packing, which is deciding. One print, two pieces, and the outfit is done. 

The practical advantage is that each piece works alone. On day one, wear the set together. On day three, put the shirt over a swimsuit and wear the trousers with a plain top. By day five, you have three outfits from one purchase, and the shirt still works with jeans when you're home. That's the idea behind the whole range: fewer pieces, worn more often.

Bikinis, monokinis and crochet

Swim & Resort is where the prints move to the beach. The swimsuits use the same artwork as the clothes, so the Paros in Prairee or Ananas and the Cara in Seaborn or Azure belong to the same wardrobe as your dresses. The edit includes bikini sets such as the Levi, monokinis, and crochet pieces for a lighter, textured look. 

Cover-ups and kaftans

A good beach cover-up does two jobs. It gets you from the water to lunch without a full outfit change, and it works over a dress or shorts after sunset. Our Beach Cover-Ups and Kaftans are cut loose and light, so they pack flat and go over almost anything. 

Building with NOIB wardrobe

A NOIB wardrobe doesn't need many pieces, but they should work together. A practical starting point is one swimsuit, one cover-up or kaftan, one dress for evenings, one co-ord set for travel days, and one printed shirt. Choose from one or two prints so everything matches, and pack in natural fabrics that handle heat without feeling heavy.
